I'm originally from Russia, moved to the states when I was 8. Lived in Philly for about 5 years before my parents moved to Jacksonville FL. I was exposed to games when I got my first Atari with a box full of cartridges from a flea market. Throughout high school I started playing with simple scripting languages like HTML.. which eventually lead me to try QBasic and all the way to C++. Fast forward a little bit, I decided that since I will probably be working most of my life, I might as well do something I love. Coding + games = Game Programmer and with that solid logic I enrolled into a game design program. After many, many sleepless nights I got my Associates, took a break and decided I wanted to get my BA. After more sleepless nights and lots' of diet rockstars I finally got my BA in game design!

    In the process of making up for all the lost hours of sleep, I got a call from a casual game company (Merit Entrainment) for an interview. All went well, I was excited, they were excited.. and somehow I ended up in Philly again. Except this time I wasn't playing Atari, I was working for Merit, the leader in touchscreen entertainment.
